Recipe about bulgogi(Korean barbecue)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional)
  • Cooked rice, for serving

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the garlic, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, rice wine, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
  2. Add the beef slices to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the marinade. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours.
  3. Heat a large pan or grill over high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
  4. Serve the bulgogi hot with cooked rice, topped with green onions if desired. Enjoy!
